سچا دوست اور جادوئی بیج

ایک گاؤں میں دو دوست رہتے تھے، علی اور سعد۔ علی بہت محنتی تھا اور سعد بہت سست۔

ایک دن ایک بوڑھا فقیر گاؤں میں آیا اور دونوں کو ایک ایک بیج دیا۔

فقیر نے کہا: "یہ جادوئی بیج ہے، جو سچے دل سے محنت کرے گا اس کا بیج ایک رات میں درخت بن جائے گا۔"

سعد نے بیج کو لے جا کر الماری میں رکھ دیا اور سوچا، "کل بو دوں گا۔" اور وہ سو گیا۔

لیکن علی نے اسی وقت زمین کھودی، پانی دیا، اور ساری رات اس کی رکھوالی کی۔

صبح جب سورج نکلا تو سب حیران رہ گئے!

علی کے بیج سے ایک بڑا درخت بن گیا تھا جس پر سونے کے سیب لگے ہوئے تھے، اور سعد کے بیج سے صرف گھاس نکلی تھی۔

فقیر واپس آیا اور کہا: "بیٹا! جادو بیج میں نہیں، تمہاری محنت میں تھا۔"

*سبق:* محنت کبھی رائیگاں نہیں جاتی۔

True Friend and the Magic Seed

In a village, there lived two friends, Ali and Saad. Ali was very hardworking and Saad was very lazy.

One day, an old holy man came to the village and gave each of them a seed.

The holy man said: "This is a magic seed. The one who works with a true heart, his seed will become a tree in one night."

Saad took the seed, kept it in his cupboard and thought, "I will sow it tomorrow." And he went to sleep.

But Ali dug the ground at the same time, gave it water, and guarded it all night.

When the sun rose in the morning, everyone was surprised!

Ali's seed had become a big tree with golden apples on it, and only grass had grown from Saad's seed.

The holy man  came back and said: "Son! The magic was not in the seed, it was in your hard work."

Moral: Hard work never goes to waste.
