Two Cats and the Clever Monkey
In a village, there lived two cats. They were very good friends. One day they found a piece of bread somewhere.
Both cats started sharing the bread. One cat said, I want the bigger share, the other cat said, no, the bigger share is mine. They started fighting.
Nearby, a clever monkey was sitting on a tree and watching all this. An idea came to his mind. He came down and said, Oh dear cat sisters, why are you fighting? Bring it, I will divide your bread equally, I have a weighing scale.
Both cats agreed. The monkey made two pieces of the bread and put them in the scale.
He deliberately kept one piece bigger. He said, Oh, this side is heavier, and broke a little piece from it and ate it himself.
Then the other side became heavier. Then he broke a little from it and ate it.
He kept doing this again and again and kept eating small pieces of bread himself.
In the end, only two very small pieces were left in the scale. Both cats said, Stop it, now we will share these.
The monkey laughed and said, Oh, these two pieces are my fee. Saying this, he also ate both pieces and ran away.
Both cats kept looking at each other's faces.
*Moral: When you fight among yourselves, the third person takes advantage, so we should always live together in harmony.*
